The DS450/135C machining centre features. 2 machining systems:

Turning head with two tool-holder attachments on mobile marriage, suited for small to large diameter turning operations, using the same tool.

Fast spindle fitted underneath the turning head, which allows to perform high-speed drilling, tapping and other types of jobs.

This ruggedly constructed machine is designed to include an excellent chip disposal system and a totally sealed onboard-mounted enclosure, insuring no release of fluid / chips.
All mechanical moving organs of the diam. 200 turning heads are made of treated steel and are lubricated through an exclusive oil circuit.
The base frame is made of electro- welded, stabilized steel.
The head is made of Meehanite cast iron.
All axes slide on cross-roller guide shoes and are driven by ball screws with pre-loaded, double lead screw and Brushless motors.
The mechanical organs of the turning head are of sturdy construction, so as to allow heavy removal with utmost reliability.
All movements are governed by the machine CNC.
The tool works at its best during the facing operations, when the constant-cut program is activated.
The fast spindle protrudes from underneath the turning head only when the latter is clamped.
The rotary, 360.000 step less indexing table is equipped with ways and devices designed to accommodate the tool-holder pallets
